Aleksandar Mitrović met Salem Al Dawsari’s cross with a sharp first-time volley from close range to open the scoring for Al Hilal in the 27th minute. In the 65th minute, Al Dawsari turned scorer, playing a neat one-two with Sergej Milinković-Savić before dinking a clever chip over the onrushing goalkeeper. Substitute Kaio César added a third from the penalty spot in the 90th minute, and just two minutes later, completed his brace with a simple finish after good effort from Al Dawsari and a clever backheel pass from Malcom.
